The Rural Municipality of The Gap No. 39 is seeking quotations for loading and hauling gravel to be placed on municipal roads. The 2025 Gravel Haul scope of work will include: The gravel will be loaded from municipal owned gravel stockpiles on quarry lease land at the following locations: Pit #1: NE 19-5-19 W2M, Lease #374444 (Appendix B); and Pit #2: SW 3-05-21 W2M, Lease #403315 (Appendix C). The gravel will be hauled at primary weights and will be placed and spread on municipal grid roads as designated by the municipality; The estimated quantity of gravel to be hauled is approximately 10,000 cubic yards; Loading shall be completed at a unit rate per cubic yard; and Hauling, placing and spreading shall be completed at one of the following unit rates: per cubic yard per mile, with a minimum haul distance of 5 miles; or per cubic yard, with an estimated average haul distance of 9.5 miles.
