Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Ceylon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for asbestos abatement for a fitness / recreation center.
Full replacement of the Ceylon Rink roof including removal of existing materials and installation of a new metal roof system. Work includes structural reinforcement or replacement of load-bearing trusses and beams, weatherproofing, debris removal, and site restoration. Work must maintain safe public access to adjacent areas when applicable. a. Removal & Disposal Full removal of existing roofing materials, fasteners, and sheathing. Proper disposal of all debris. b. New Roof Installation Installation of metal roofing system. Ice and water shield installed (if applicable). Replacement of damaged sheathing. Installation of new flashing, drip edges, and ridge components. c. Weatherproofing .Full sealing of penetrations. Snow-load rated materials. Site preparation includes equipment staging, safety fencing, walkway protection , debris removal , and full cleanup. Contractors must identify any hazardous materials such as asbestos , lead paint, or mold during inspection and include mitigation plans.
