Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 2004, c.57 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) which includes the requirement that contractors provide copies of their Business Registration Certificates issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, as well as other provisions as listed in the Contract Documents. Proposals MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a Bid Bond or Certified Check, made payable to the City of Jersey City, in an amount equal to Ten (10%) percent of the Bid not to exceed $20,000.00. Office hours Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 4:00pm. The City shall not be responsible for the loss, non-delivery or physical condition of bids sent by mail or courier service. Any Bid Proposal received after the date and time specified will be returned, unopened, to the bidder.
