Renovation of an educational facility in Agawam, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Removal and replacement of the pool heater at the Agawam Junior High School. Questions must be sent in writing by email to bids@agawam.ma.us no later than January 27, 2025 Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Scope of Work/Specifications 2. New Heater Intallation Furnish and install a new gas-fired, direct-vent, high-efficiency pool heater (Lochinvar Aquas APN600 Model as highlighted in the attachment) or approved equal), appropriately sized for the pool. Follow manufacturer's instructions for installation, along with applicable local and state codes and ordinances. Install a new flue from the pool room and provide vent piping, including fresh air intake if required. Any flu pipe that exceeds 5 feet from the building, the Town of Agawam will provide framing and covering by a licensed carpenter. This is due to Lochinvar specifications Connect the heater to: o The existing medium-pressure gas main (verify pressure before connection). o The existing heating mains.
