The project consists of renovations to the basement meeting room, kitchen, gender-neutral restroom, lounge and rec areas, level one lounge, and exterior site work. Estimated Cost $1,800,000.00. Summary of work is as follows: This renovation provides improvements to student amenities within the residence hall, primarily on the basement and first floor levels of Wheeler House. These spaces include restrooms, a new meeting room, new kitchen, recreation and lounge areas. The scope includes upgrades and modifications to lighting, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, fire alarms and sprinklers systems. Minimal exterior improvements will be included to ensure an accessible building entrance at the relocated primary entrance to the basement level.
