The Town of Lansing Board of Aldermen, Lansing, NC, is advertising for bid proposals for the following grounds/ landscaping and repair work in the Creeper Trail Park incurred during Hurricane Helene. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Town Hall at 336-384-3938 The bid to include the following items: 1. Provide labor and material to reseed approximately 17 acres of the Creeper Trail Park to include 250 N & W Lane, lower loop walking area, and J O Blevins Meadow. 2. Install required damaged drainage to prevent standing water; two areas - main area, and on left side below the entry into park. 3. Replace trees that were destroyed with 5 Red Bud, 4 Thundercloud Flowering Plum, 6 October Glory Maples, 6 Red Sunset Maples, 2 Green Emerald Green Arborvitae, 2 Dogwood, and 6 purple Laurels. 4. Labor and equipment to clear 1/2 mile Stanback Nature Trail of debris. 5. Labor and equipment to repair and remove debris on 2.7 miles on Karb Mountain Bike Trail. The Town of Lansing reserves the right to reject any or all of the submittals provided if determined by the Lansing Board of Aldermen to be in the best interest of the town.
