Cambridge Public Schools is looking to install two new flagpoles. These flagpoles are to be installed at the Fletcher Maynard Academy (FMA), 225 Windsor Street, and at the CambridgePort School (CPort), 89 Elm Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. We are looking to install a 25' flagpole at each location. Question Deadline 01/22/2025 at 3:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted in the e-Procurement Portal The price shall be in accordance with plans and specifications, including all labor and materials. The price shall remain firm for the contract period, including any renewals period(s) if any. Any charges for materials must be supported by a copy of the original invoice. No travel expenses or any other costs will be permitted. They must be included in the total bid amount. This flag pole is located at the Haggerty school on Cushing St. and the interested vendors can use it as a reference - Remove & dispose of existing flagpole remains attached to the building. Existing flagpole is wall mounted. - Furnish and install a 25' aluminum pole. Exact location to be determined by the owner. - Furnish and install solar powered light to illuminate flag during the night - Hoisting cable to be prepared to receive both the US & POW/MIA flags. The flags will be provided by the owner. - Provide tutorial on how to operate hoisting cable - The flagpole must have a lockable compartment for access to the cable for raising or lowering the flags. - Obtain all necessary permits, and notify Dig Safe.
