Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Wyandotte, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a 50 ft long x 25.5 wide bridge with a concrete deck on zinc painted steel girders, concrete abutments on 14 C.I.P. piles, w-beam guardrail, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven (7) days prior to the bid opening date. All bids shall be submitted as a hard copy. The Greene County Highway Department assumes no liability for mailed or shipped bids failing to arrive prior to the closing of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%.
