The Contract includes sewer pipe replacement, installation, and rehabilitation; sewer manhole replacement, installation, and rehabilitation; bypass pumping; traffic control; restoration and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the Contract Documents. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2025 Small Sewer Separation Project, Contract No. 2024-11 Bids shall be on a unit price basis. All Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Notice is hereby given that Capital Region Water has adopted the Minority Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Plan to ensure that minority, women and other disadvantaged business enterprises have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in all project related construction contracts. Notice is given that the project for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works. The Contract Documents specify federal Davis-Bacon wage rate requirements for the Project and are attached to the Bidding Documents. The wage rates will also be posted in a conspicuous location, visible to all of the contractors' employees. All Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. A Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the Successful Bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents including, but not limited to, the Agreement. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a bid may be cause for rejection of the bid. Alterations by erasure or interlineation must be explained or noted in the bid over the signature of the Bidder. Capital Region Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in a Bid or the Bid procedure; and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of Capital Region Water.
