The Project consists of the construction of approximately 150' of open trench / HDD ductbank and installation of 500' of 4kV underground feeder. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening unless noted otherwise and remain subject To acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening. Bidders must comply with all state antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an Executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders shall be aware that these contracts are subject to the provisions of the pennsylvania prevailing wage act and bids shall be prepared Accordingly. Contractors and subcontractors to utilize the federal government's e-verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the united States. All bidders are required to submit a public works employment verification form as a precondition for the contract award. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania human relations act no. 222. Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, National origin, age, or sex. The borough of zelienople reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted. It also reserves the right to waive any Informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. There will be no pre-Bid conference for this Project unless otherwise defined by addendum.
