As of March 4, 2025 project was awarded to SS Service Corp in the amount of $49,766.31 The Town of Southbridge Water Department (hereinafter referred to as "the Town") is extends Invitation to Bid from qualified contractors to perform Water Treatment Facility (WTF) HVAC Upgrade The Town seeks to replace the existing HVAC equipment at the Water Treatment Facility at 511 Breakneck Road, Southbridge, MA 01550. The current system includes 1 Condenser, 1 Coil and 1 Furnace. The Town seeks to replace the current system with 2 condensers, 2 furnaces and 2 coils; bidders shall ensure that the new equipment and ventilation meets or exceeds the previous equipment's capacity. The scope shall include labor and materials for the removal of existing equipment, installation of new equipment, any necessary ventilation, pipes, ducts, refrigerant/combustion lines. In addition, this scope includes the labor and materials to perform pressure tests and any other necessary testing for startup, and initiate startup. Finally, the scope shall include labor and materials to provide and install a new programable thermostat with remote sensor.
