BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND OTHER WORK Bridge File 13833, SW 27-65-22-W4M Carrying a Local Road over the Tawatinaw River, 4 km N of Colinton Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing bridge treated timber substructure and the construction of a new 8-12-8m SL-510 type girder bridge on steel substructure. The crossing is located on Range Road 222A over the Tawatinaw River, 4 km north of Colinton. The Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Excavation Water Management Headslope Preparation and Backfill Supply and Installation of Piling Supply, Delivery and Erection of Prestressed SL-510 Interior and Exterior Precast Units Abutment, Pier and Wingwall Construction Roadway Work Supply and Installation of Bridgerail and Guardrail Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence) Documents can be obtained from https://mpaeng.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award amount was not released for publication.
