Site work for a civil project in Redlands, California. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Plans call to construct two (2) 10 MG (minimum) reservoirs, associated equipment, components, and facilities, in separate phases, that will replace the Sunset Reservoir. The City intends to construct one (1) reservoir and associated equipment in FY 26/27. The second reservoir is not anticipated to be constructed for several years. Therefore, the Consultant is to prepare one (1) construction plan set that includes two (2) construction phases (1 for each reservoir). The first reservoir constructed must be fully operational and remain operational throughout construction of the second reservoir. The first construction phase will conclude with demolition of the existing Sunset Reservoir and associated infrastructure after the first newly constructed reservoir is operational. As of May 14, 2025, the project is in design. The construction document completion timeline has not been released. A tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been released. Further details regarding firm construction and completion timelines have not been identified.
