CMLC is seeking a Construction Manager with strong partnering skills to lead the delivery of the Victoria Park District Wide Infrastructure project, from pre-construction through post-construction, including construction of the work. The Successful Proponent will have the necessary experience to meet the project priorities of cost certainty, minimization of operational costs, area coordination and management of construction timelines. In summary, the Construction Manager for this project will accomplish the following objectives: A. 5A Street SE: Reconfiguration of this street, providing a minimum 4-lane cross section with lane reversal between 12th Avenue and 14th Avenue SE, east sidewalks with all ancillary lighting and street furniture. (Owner of the Lands: City of Calgary to back of sidewalk). B. 14th Avenue SE: Surface improvements to 14th Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street to provide 4-lane cross section, with south sidewalk and ancillary lighting and street furniture. (Owner of the Lands: City of Calgary to back of sidewalk). C. Stampede Trail / 4th Street SE Improvements: Improvements to 4th Street SE to add lane reversal to the 4-lane cross section. This is a separate project and not part of the scope of this RFP; however, needs to be coordinated as part of the entire Victoria Park District Wide Infrastructure Project. (Owner of the Lands: City of Calgary to back of sidewalk). D. 17th Avenue SE: Improvements to the area east of Macleod Trail SE at 17th Avenue to provide 4- lane cross section. (Owner of the Lands: City of Calgary and Calgary Stampede). E. 25th Avenue SE Connector: Improvements to lighting and wayfinding between Agricultural Trail SE and 25th Avenue SE.
