The objective of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select an Engineering Consultant to provide engineering services for all or part of the Project components. Work will include information review, field investigation, alternatives evaluation, concept, cost estimation and presentation to County Council, (if required), The Project will include the following tasks, but not limited to: - Tower Structural Stability Assessment including Ultrasonic testing (UT) (for integrity and stability analysis) - Foundation Integrity Assessment - Tower Coating Assessment including Lead Test - Tendering Preparation The scope of this RFP includes all required tests of acceptable quality control. The Consultant will provide the County with all information as required to carry out construction work. The details of the scope of work are provided under section 3 of this RFP. The Lac La Biche Water Tower was constructed in 1967 with capacity of 600 cubic meters of water to facilitate to the hamlet of Lac La Biche for over thirty years. This has been out of service for more than a decade as new water reservoir and pump house was built to supply the distribution of the water. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
