The City of Denison (CITY); 300 W Main St. Denison, TX is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform potable water distribution system, sewer collection system, and stormwater conveyance system maintenance and repairs within CITY limits. Bid proposals may be modified or withdrawn at any time prior to the time set for opening bids. Bid proposals must be submitted to: Christine Wallentine, City Clerk 300 W. Main Street Denison, TX 75020 Bid proposals must be clearly marked PIPELINE MAINTENANCE & REPAIR. Only a signed, completed Bid Specification Form will be considered, accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5%. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding procedure, to accept only part of a bid (in the event of multiple-item bids), and to accept the bid that the City considers to be in its own best interests, without regard to whether or not such bid is the best price received. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety.
