The City of Denison is soliciting qualification statements (SOQs) from firms or joint ventures regarding the implementation of the City's SCADA system. The project includes complete design, fabrication, installation, programming, and ongoing maintenance of a SCADA system for the City. This also includes assisting the City in selecting SCADA software to be used. This project will include the implementation of the SCADA system at various Water and Wastewater remote sites and control stations at the Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities to monitor and control remote sites. The system shall be designed for expansion in the future. Integrator shall design, fabricate, install, test, and startup all programmable logic and motor control panels required to implement supervision and control of remote water and wastewater facilities. All control panels shall be compliant with UL standards. A list of the facilities, along with desired operation/monitoring, is included in Attachment 2. Integrator shall purchase a non-proprietary SCADA software package and configure the system. The design will include additional hardware, network, and IO points to monitor and control additional functions. Integrator will evaluate existing instrumentation and sensors for replacement. The SCADA system will allow for control, monitoring, and operation of various remote water and wastewater facilities. A list of the facilities, along with desired operation/monitoring, is included in Attachment 2.
