Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Berne, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project includes but is not limited to the reconstruction of approximately 1,130 feet of County Road S 150 W complete with new grading, drainage, drive approaches, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements and all other work required for the completion of the road improvements for the City of Berne. Additionally, the project includes street resurfacing projects throughout the City that includes the milling and resurfacing of streets with 1.5 inches of asphalt including type B asphalt for tack coat and the replacement of ADA corners and detectable warning surfaces that are consistent in color and size of existing ADA corners and detectable warning surfaces in the City of Berne. The scope for the street resurfacing projects are described in the Bid Form and include Jefferson Street (from Parr Rd. to W. Van Buren St.), Hoosier Street (from US 27 to Railroad St. and from Railroad St. to Welty St.), Gaye Drive (from Center St. to Cul-de-sac), High Street (from Lane St. to US 27 and from US 27 to Columbia St.), Nussbaum Street (from Clark St. to Center St.), Lane Street (from Clark St. to Center St.), Buckeye Street (from US 27 to Behring St.), Center Street (from US 27 to Lane St.), Columbia Street (from Center St. to Buckeye St.), Columbia Drive (from N. Harrison St. to Buckeye St.), and Fulton Street (from Main St. to E. Franklin St.). Questions pertaining to this project shall be submitted directly to Ben Adams, P.E. at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.
