Asphalt, Concrete and Stone for Public Works Repairing Streets and Sidewalks in Berne, IN For unit prices on the following materials and services for maintenance, repairs, and patching of streets, alleys and sidewalks in the City of Berne, Indiana, such bids to be contracted from January 1, 2026 until December 31, 2026. Asphalt patching of streets and paved alleys (all such patching to be completed within two (2) weeks following notice of request to proceedfrom City to contractor) as follows: Pricing per square foot of the following: Saw cutting of the patched area. Excavation, removal and hauling away of 6 inches of material. 4 1/2 inches of binder material rolled/compacted. 1 1/2 inches of asphalt surface rolled / compacted. Crack seal around the exterior of the patch. Blacrete furnished in City of Berne trucks, FOB plant Blacrete furnished or delivered and stockpiled at Berne, Indiana. Granular backfill - pit - run or sand, furnished and delivered or stockpiled at Berne, Indiana. Crushed stone furnished, delivered to City stockpile; all sizes. Crushed stone furnished in City of Berne trucks, FOB plant; all sizes. Reinforced concrete curb and gutter, by the lineal foot, with curb and gutter for both roll type, straight type and curb-face. Four (4) inch thick concrete sidewalks and six (6) inch thick reinforced driveway approaches per square foot, ADA approved sidewalk ramps per ramp on pre-constructed sidewalks, including removal of existing curbs and sidewalks, to meet specifications asset forth by the City of Berne, Indiana as located in the Clerk's office of said City. Contractors agree that any of said concrete work ordered by the City on or before June 30, 2026 shall be fully completed on or before September 30, 2026. Cut and replace concrete street - also hot mix paved street (per square foot). Contractors may bid separately on the various items or may bid on all items. The above items shall be according to plans and specifications and the approximate quantities shown thereon for proposed work on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Berne, Indiana. Contractors must be qualified contractors under IC 5-156-13. All bids shall be accompanied with a bond or certified check in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). The City of Berne reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
