Construction of a 36' wide x 40' long permanent Equipment Storage building with height of 16 feet on our lot located in Port Matilda. The construction will include three 12'x14' garage doors, four 35"x44" windows and 1 personnel entry door. Also include 6" finished concrete floor with two 3" floor drains, insulated walls and ceiling. This is a prevailing wage project #25-00245. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to make awards in the best interest of the Township. Equipment Storage Building Specifications - 1/12/2025 The Worth Township Supervisors are accepting bids for the site preparation and Construction of a 36' wide x 40'long permanent Equipment Storage building with height of 16 feet on our lot located in Port Matilda. We will secure building permits required for this construction project. The construction will include a 6" finished concrete floor with two 3" floor drains piped to the outside of the structure. All building posts should be set at least 36" inches below the finished floor. Structural headers, posts, and beams are to be #1 grade lumber. The left endwall of side A will include two (2) 12' x 14' insulated garage doors with one row of glass. The back sidewall of side B will include two (2) 36" x 44" single hung windows installed at the height and location of the buyer. The right endwall or Side C will feature one 12' x 14' insulated garage door with one row of glass centered on the side. The front sidewall or side D will feature two 36" x 44" single hung windows and one 30" x 80" 9 glass entry door to be located as per buyer. The builder will install rain gutters and downspouts with 12" soffit and fascia roof overhangs. Walls will include interior wall framing and insulated to at least R-19 and the ceiling insulated to at least a R-30 value and the surfaces covered with either steel or other liner panels. All ground contact wood to be pressure treated against decay in the ground. Roof trusses will be engineered to meet or exceed total load design for central Pennsylvania snow load. Roof slope will be at least 4 inches per foot and use painted steel. Painted steel should also be used for the siding. The building should also include eave ventilation to eliminate roof condensation. The successful bidder must provide a list of previously constructed buildings to allow for Worth Township inspection and touring prior to bid award.
