Renovation of a library in Brattleboro, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Brooks Memorial Library is seeking bids to replace their existing membrane roof. The objectives of this project are to replace existing roof assemblies with new materials and components that will provide the facility with an improved envelope. Scope of the work, or Base Bid for all three roofs, includes removal of old membrane down to the underlying insulation, proper disposal of membrane, new 1/2" high density poly iso board on top of existing insulation, proper fastening and new .060 PVC membrane roof system, color to be white. Include all parapet and miscellaneous flashings. Provide new .040 aluminum roof edge. Provide bowl type roof drains at existing drain locations. Provide manufacturers 20 year warranty. Add Alternate #1 will be to add 4" of additional isocyanurate insulation to the Upper Roof and provide new roof edge flashing to accommodate new insulation thickness.
