Renovation of a museum in Lennox, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Bids will be received for the following contract: Lennox Historical Museum Renovation, City Of Lennox, Lennox, South Dakota All bids shall be made in accordance with Forms, Drawings and Project Manual attached to, and made a part of, the proposed contract documents. Each bid must contain a Certified Check, a Cashier's Check or Draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid items, such Check or Draft to be certified or issued by either a State or National Bank, and payable to the City of Lennox, or in lieu thereof, a Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, such Bid Bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the state and payable to the City of Lennox. Said Certified Check, Draft or Bid Bond guarantees the execution of a contract and shall be held by the City of Lennox until said contract is executed. SDCL5-18A. All bids and contracts shall be made in accordance with, and subject to SDCL 5-18A, 5-21, 5-22 and the provisions set forth in the specifications. The Lennox City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities.
