Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fairfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as LOWER HARBIN PARK PROJECT for the Department of Public Works Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents and other conditions therein described must be met. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes are also required. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the state prevailing wage rates on public improvements in the City of Fairfield, Ohio as determined by the State of Ohio, Department of Commerce. Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents/certifications: Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified) Non-Collusion Affidavit Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes Bid prices must be firm for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days following the bid opening date. Construction on this project is expected to be authorized to begin by May 1, 2025. Substantial Completion is anticipated by October 1, 2025. Total contract time will be a maximum of 180 days. The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Fairfield, Ohio to do so.
