Reference Number 0000372759 The Town of Atlantic Beach invites qualified contractors to submit sealed proposals for the provision of Clean-up Services for Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival 2025. The contractor (s) chosen should provide the Town with the highest quality and most flexible services for the best value. Proposals will be evaluated based on the contractor's ability to provide all services contained in this RFP efficiently and at a reasonable cost to the Town of Atlantic Beach. Previous experience and references will also be considered and should be included with the submitted proposal. The Town of Atlantic Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. General Requirements. 1. All contractors participating in the proposal process must be licensed by applicable provision of South Carolina law. 2. All contractors participating in the proposal process must provide proof of Worker's compensation coverage in the amount of $500,000. Proof of $1,000,000 of general liability insurance and $1,000,000 in vehicle liability insurance must also be provided. The Town must be named as additional named insured. Certificates of insurance must accompany the proposal. 3. All equipment must comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local rules and regulations. 4. All persons operating vehicles on State and Local roads must be licensed as per State requirements and operate said vehicles in accordance with all Federal, State and Local laws. 5. All Federal, State and local work safety laws and regulations must be strictly adhered to. 6. The selected contractor must secure a business license from the Town of Atlantic Beach before the beginning of the contract. 7. The Town reserves the right to pay for dumpster services from the contract award, if deemed necessary. 8. The successful contractor must keep the Town free of litter and debris during the event to include the emptying of trash receptacles when needed. New liners will be placed in receptacles as required. The Town from 29th Avenue to 32nd Avenue is to be completely free of litter and debris by 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024. 9. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals required for the complete and satisfactory performance of clean-up for Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival 2025. 10. The successful contractor is responsible for establishing effective management controls during the performance of this contract. 11. The contractor's employees shall not engage in loud or boisterous conduct during this contract and must be readily identifiable as contractor's employees. 12. Any contractor employee appearing under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall not be permitted to work. 13. All receptacles and dumpsters must be removed from the town by no later than 24 hours after the ending of the event. Terms and Conditions of the Contract The initial contract period shall begin on May 22, 2025 and end on May 27, 2025.
