These bids shall cover all the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, mechanical workmanship, transportation, and services which are required for Diablo Vista Playground Renovation Contract No. B-560. The work location is Diablo Vista Park, 1000 Tassajara Ranch Drive, in Danville, California. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, The Play Area construction involves demolition of existing pavement, walls, landscaping, earthwork, installation of new concrete, resilient surfacing, play equipment, fencing, site furnishings; metal railing and other; removal and replacement of existing Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) curb, sidewalk, and curb ramp; removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete pavement; installation of a combination of asphalt concrete overlay and inlay; removal and replacement of existing pavement striping and markers, traffic control, and other items that are required by the plans, standard specifications, or these Special Provisions. The estimated cost of construction (Based Bid + Additive Alternate) is approximately $2,209,654, including bid alternates, custom shade shelter, fitness area, boulders and lighting. The Contractor must be properly licensed as a contractor from contract award through contract acceptance (California Public Contract Code 10164) The deposit may be cashier's check, certified check (certified without qualification and drawn on a solvent bank of the State of California or a National Bank doing business in the State of California), or bid bond, made payable to the TOWN OF DANVILLE, or the bid will not be considered.
