Reference Number 0000285588 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/02/03 04:00:00 PM EST Request for Qualification: OCH is seeking to obtain up to twelve (12) qualified firms to provide Restoration Services. All Work is awarded on an as and when required basis. The Contractor shall have the capacity and capability to provide services, to mobilize, and to supervise skilled trades which may be required to provide recovery services due to the effects of major incidents. Work will be required in both occupied and non-occupied homes. Please refer to the attached documments for details. The scope of work for the Restoration/Recovery Services will be developed on a case-by-case basis, typically identified for the Contractor after a joint inspection with OCH. 3.2 The following list describes typical Restoration/Recovery Services: 1) Drywall installation, patching & repairs; 2) Stipple repair; 3) Insulation, vapour barrier installation; 4) Cleaning; 5) Painting; 6) Electrical repairs/replacements, including electrical outlets, switches, light bulbs and fixture covers and fixtures (including exterior), exhaust fans/range hoods and filters, door bells and chimes, device cover plates (including phone and cable); 7) Appliance repairs including but not limited to terminal blocks, drip pans, stove elements, indicator lights, damaged or missing knobs etc. (if new appliances are required, och will facilitate this); 8) Plumbing repairs or replacements, including p-traps, aerators, taps, basket strainers, sinks and bathtub, shower head, laundry tub/taps, exterior hose bib, basin and bathtub stoppers, basin legs, floor drains, and shut off valves; Note: The Contractor must contact the OCH Project Authority for any building water shutdowns, and this work will be coordinated by OCH with an authorized OCH contractor. 9) Fixture replacement, including bathtubs, sinks, toilets, shower and towel rods, door stops, etc; 10) Window and door replacement, including screens, weatherstripping, hardware and casings; 11) Kitchen and bathroom countertop and cabinetry; 12) Hardwood refinishing; 13) Flooring repair or replacement; 14) Roof repairs; 15) Wood deck repairs; 16) 14 round/show molding, baseboard installation; 17) Caulking of all seams before painting, including at baseboards and window and door casings; 18) Heat register and return grill replacement, dryer vent hoses, etc; 19) Exterior dryer and fresh air louvres; and, 20) Medicine cabinet, mirror installation.
