No definite date for the rebid.** The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to: Seek bids from responsive and responsible Contractor to provide the reconstruction of Skyline High School Baseball Diamond Infield to correct compaction issues according to the attached Project Manual, specifications, and drawings. Granite School District (GSD) is requesting the services of an experienced and qualified Sports Field Contractor to reconstruct the baseball diamond infield at Skyline High School, 3251 East 3760 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Work shall include, but is not limited to: o Furnishing all labor and equipment to remove and dispose of existing infield skin materials. o Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to recondition and compact existing sub-base materials or to remove and dispose of existing sub-base materials and install new compacted materials. o Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to install new infield skin. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as indicated on the Drawings and in accordance with Bid Documents, including General and Supplemental Conditions of the Construction Contract, and other documents as provided for the performance of this Work. The infield of the baseball diamond at Skyline High School has suffered an underlying failure of the infield mix and compacted sand sub-base course. The scope of this work is to remove and dispose of the failed infield skin and top dressing, reconstruct the sub-base, and install a new infield skin. The infield is composed of a 3" infield mix layer over a 9" compacted sand base. The affected area is shown on drawing B-L 101, indicated by the tag "IF". The pitcher's mound (tag "PM") is not included in the scope of work. It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Bonds: The bidder is required to submit a Bid Bond, with the bid, for a total bid amount that is $50,000.00 or greater.
