https://www.bizjournals.com/albany/news/2025/03/02/troy-awards-bids-new-lansingburgh-pool.html Mar 02, 2025 New York's SWIMS program is also providing $10 million for the rehabilitation of the Lincoln Park Pool in Albany and $10 million for the Capital Region Aquatic Center in downtown Schenectady. _______________________________________________________________ The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Construction of a Service Line Connection. Anticipated Projected Starting: February 21, 2025 Date of substantial completion: May 16, 2025 Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price All bids must be accompanied by a City of Albany Minority Participation Plan and/or Minority Participation Waiver. If the Minority Participation documents are not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. All requests for waivers shall be accompanied by a plan which identifies what portion of the goals will be attained. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804. All bidders must also comply with General Municipal Law section 103 and Sections 220-223 of the New York State Labor Law. Bids may be submitted by mail or other delivery system, however, it shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the bid is delivered by the date and time as specified above. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to reject any bid delivered after the date and time specified above. Questions pertaining to the bid package should be directed Martin R.
