Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lebanon, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: This project generally involves the earthwork and storm drainage infrastructure installation necessary to prepare an area adjacent to existing t-hangars for future development on the southeast side of the airfield; also, the work necessary to re-align an existing asphalt paved access road on airport property off Castle Heights Avenue. Work items generally include but are not limited to: site erosion control items, earthwork, storm drainage structures installation, new chain-link perimeter fencing, relocation of manual chain-link swing gates and an existing chain-link rolling gate with operator and keypad pedestal, and asphalt (HMA) paving. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond on the form contained in the Proposal Book from a surety company acceptable to the City of Lebanon or a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City of Lebanon for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A 100% Contract Bond will be required of the successful Contractor. Liquidated damages, for delay in contract completion shall be as stated in the Proposal. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee. The project is funded partially with federal funds, therefore is subject to the following provisions: Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity, Buy American Preference, Davis Bacon Act, Debarment and Suspension, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, Foreign Trade Restriction, Lobbying Federal Employees, and Procurement of Recovered Materials. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 9.9% has been established for this project. The City of Lebanon reserves the right to reject any/and or all proposals, to waive any formalities and informalities in the proposals received, and to accept any proposal which in its opinion may be in their best interest.
