Contractor will provide Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) services to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) at various locations throughout the State of California. The Contractor must have at least one Journeyman Operator, with at least three months of full time operations experience in CPT equipment, data collection, data storage, etc. and at least one Helper with a minimum of three (3) months of experience. Resumes must be submitted with the bid proposals. The Contractor shall maintain sufficient equipment to meet the requirements of the work. The equipment shall be subject to inspection by the Geologist prior to awarding of the contract, prior to each call-up, and at all times at the site. DWR will conduct an on-site inspection of the Contractor's safety program and facility to verify that the safety program meets minimum industry standards and that all equipment and staffing required for providing services under this contract are in place. The information provided by the Contractor will be used by DWR staff when conducting the on-site inspection to substantiate the Contractor's ability to perfom services. If the Contractor's facility is found to be inadequate for providing services, it may adversely affect the Contractor's scoring in the evaluation process. All equipment must be in operation/operable at the time of the on-site inspection. DWR reserves the right to waive minor deviations on th on-site inspection.
