Design-Build Contracts, Harbor Towns Inc, a private 501/c/3 nonprofit organization seeks a qualified general contractor to provide Design-Build services to engage in a AIA A141 (Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Design-Builder) as Agent for Harbor Towns Inc to manage several municipal dock and waterfront infrastructure construction projects in the North Carolina Albemarle Sound towns of Edenton, Hertford, Elizabeth City, Columbia, and Plymouth .Dock and waterfront infrastructure projects may include, but not be limited to, boardwalks, pump outs, electrical and water service, rest rooms and showers, docks and boat slips, and pavilions and shelters Responsibilities include preliminary engineering and architectural design, preliminary cost estimation, obtaining necessary project permits, bid requirement documentation, proposal solicitation, coordination of winning bid determination with our Board of Directors, management and record keeping for reporting for each project, quality control during project construction, and verification of project completion. Questions pertaining to this Request for Qualification shall be prepared in writing and submitted by email only to Dr. Didow no later than 5 PM January 27, 2025. Harbor Towns INC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any information in the proposal process.
