Questions will be accepted up to 5:00 PM on Monday, February 11th, 2025 Base Bid Project SCOPE consists of replacement of nineteen (19) Rooftop Air Conditioning Systems and four (4) Split System Air Conditioning Systems and one (1) Mini-Split System at the Lecanto Middle School. Included with this work are the installation of two (2) new rooftop dedicated outside air systems (DOAS), a new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) System, four (4) new Barometric Reliefs and replacement of four (4) Exhaust Fans. All Lower Level Classroom air conditioning units require new supply and return duct systems, including diffusers, grilles, air handlers and controls. All Upper Level Small Rooftop systems will re-use the existing base roof curbs and ducts. Designated Large Rooftop Systems will require new base roof curbs. The work includes the General Construction, Structural Steel and Roof cutting, patching and flashing required to support the mechanical and electrical improvements. 2. Due to budgetary limitations, two alternate areas of the work have been identified in the event that the total project cost exceeds the budget. Alternate Number 1 includes the replacement of two (2) Rooftop Units serving the 200 Building and two (2) Exhaust Fans.
