This work is additional work, or additional fees that is beyond the scope of work for plan locations. The work is the repair of any roadways damaged from unforeseen conditions within the project limits or required as directed by the Representative. Intersection Improvements at Montgomery Avenue/Windsor Avenue, Mill Road and Surrey Road within the Township. All bidders shall create a FREE account online. The responding bidder is solely responsible for all costs related to the preparation of the bid. Question Deadline 02/17/2025 at 4:30 PM ET Questions must be submitted via electronically. Submission of a question does not guarantee that such question will be answered. The results will be posted via electronically. All work on this project must start no earlier than June 19,2025, and must be completed by August 8, 2025, when school is not in session. All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA CodeChapter457, Regulations Governing Prequalification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2020, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must prequalify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT prequalified. All contractors must have a mercantile\business privilege license with Cheltenham Township. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof, during which time the Township may review the bids and investigate bidder qualifications.
