Carter Road Resurfacing - (Escalon-Bellota Road to Stanislaus County Line) Description - The work is located north of the City of Escalon and west of the Stanislaus County Line. The work, in general, consists of repairing and resurfacing approximately 4.0 miles of roadway with asphalt concrete. Base Estimate Range between $1,500,000 and $1,900,000. A bid security of 10% is required from all bidders. The bid security must be in the form of cash, certified or cashier's check, electronic bond , or a bid bond in favor of the Department. Bid Security other than electronic bond must be received by the Department prior to the bid opening closing time specified above. A payment bond and a performance bond each 100% of the value of the contract are required from the successful bidder.
