A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% will be required of the successful Bidder. The Bid Bond prepared on the forms specified and signed by a Bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bidders shall be contractors who are normally engaged in construction and shall be licensed as may be required under existing Federal, State, and County laws. Where licensing by examination by the City of Vernon or Washington County is required, such licenses shall be obtained prior to bidding. Only bids from qualified Contractors will be considered. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities and informalities and to reject any or all bids.
