The Roads Division is requesting bidders for the following: milling of existing asphalt overlay, wedge and level of new asphalt, new asphalt overlay, asphalt joint sealer, shoulder backup, traffic control, and associated work to complete the project on roads listed in the solicitation. Base Contract Roads: Love Run Road 0.66 miles Theodore Road 1.29 Principio Road 2.95 Calvert Road and Brick Meeting House Road 3.02 Irishtown Road 1.07 Nottingham Road 3.51 Tonys Road 1.63 Total Base Contract 14.12 miles estimated Contingent Roads: Union Valley Road 0.42 miles Old Telegraph Road 1.26 Total Contingent Roads 1.68 miles All questions shall be asked using the question & answer feature via OpenGov Procurement by 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond of the bidder, payable to the order of Cecil County, Maryland, for five (5) percent of the total base bid amount, which will be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages in case an award is made, and the Contract and Bond are not promptly and properly executed as required within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids
