Renovation of a mixed-use development in Thorntown, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of February 11, 2025, contracts have been awarded. Site Locations: Granville Wells Elementary, 1205 N. State Road 75, Thorntown, IN 46071 (Temperature Controls only) Western Boone Jr.-Sr. High School, 5046 S. State Road 75, Jamestown, IN 46147 (259,926 SF) This project includes the following prime bid packages: General Trades Roofing Temperature Controls Electrical Project 2407, Western Boone Renovations includes Auditorium Renovations Including Aesthetics, Theatre Rigging And Lighting, HVAC Control Replacement At Granville Wells And Western Boone, Roofing  At Western Boone And Exterior Vertical Siding On Masonry Gym Wall At Western Boone. There Are Alternates Including Gym Lights, Wrestling Lights And Ceiling, Cafeteria Lights. The Work for Which Bids Are Requested Includes All Labor, Materials, Equipment, and Items of Materials and Services Required to Provide the Proper and Complete Construction of This Project. The Work Shall Be Constructed in Accordance With This Notice to Bidders, Project Manual, Drawings, and Addenda, as Prepared for This Project. Bid and Bid Guarantees Shall Be Placed in a Sealed Envelope and Addressed to Western Boone Community Schools and Shall List the Project Name, the Name and Address of the Bidder and the Bid Package. Separate Envelopes Shall Be Provided for Each Bid Package. Lump Sum Bids Will Be Received for Western Boone Renovations (Project 24-07 Bid Phase 1) as Shown on the Contract Documents and Hereinafter Specified and as Set Forth on the Contractor's Bid Form. Prime Contractors Sealed Bid Packages Shall Include the Following Properly Executed Documents Submitted: A&c Tecton Construction, Inc. Bid Proposal Form (Spec Section 00004) A&c Bid Guarantee Contractor's Bid Security (Spec Section 00005) A&c Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Part I and Ii) (Spec Section 00006) Include Financial Statement A&c Affidavit Re: Employment of Unauthorized Aliens (Spec Section 00010) Bidders May Obtain Complete Digital Construction Documents by Registering Online. Should Any Bidder Withdraw His Bid or Bids Within 60 (Sixty) Days After the Time of Bid Opening or if Issued a Letter of Intent, Withdraw His Bid or Bids After the Issuance of Such Letter of Intent, or Fail to Execute a Form of Agreement if Presented, the Owner May Declare the Bid Bonds Forfeited to the Owner as Liquidated Damages. The Owner Reserves the Right to (1) Accept Any Bids by a Letter of Intent Within 60 (Sixty) Days After the Time of Bid Opening and a Presentation of a Form of Agreement Within (30) Thirty Days From the Date of Such Letter of Intent (2) at Any Time Reject All Bids and (3) Waive All Informalities, Irregularities, or Errors in the Bidding, Provided It is Not in Violation of the Notice to Bidders or the Statutes of the State of Indiana. Bidders Not Issued a Letter of Intent Will Have Their Bid Guarantees Returned Within Five (5) Days After the Issuance of the Letter of Intent. Prime Contractors Receiving Awards Shall Furnish an Approved Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Which Shall Be in Full Force and Effect for 12 Months From Date of Acceptance of the Work. Bond Shall Be Furnished at Time of Written Notice to Proceed With the Work. Bid Guarantee: Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, Payable to Western Boone Community Schools, in an Amount to 5% of the Maximum Bid. The Attorney-in-fact Who Executes the Bond on Behalf of the Surety Shall Affix to the Bond a Certified and Current Copy of His Power-of-attorney. Email: Snemo@tectoncm.com Each Prime Contractor May Be Asked to Submit a Completed Contractor's Qualification Statement, Aia Document A305. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Each Bid, and to Waive Informalities, Irregularities, and Errors in the Bidding to the Extent Permitted by Law. In Addition, the Owner Reserves the Right to Make the Decision in the Best Interest of Western Boone Community Schools Even if That Decision Means Not Accepting the Lowest Bidder. This Includes the Right to Extend the Date and Time for Receipt of Bids. The Construction Manager is Not a Bidder for Any of the Contract Packages.
