Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Briggsdale, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; 14,000-square-foot, two-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
**As of March 12, 2025, the project was awarded to Building by Design but the awarded amount is not available.** The District intends to construct a new building next to existing Fire Station #1. The District has conceptual plans showing 3 apparatus bays with a training center, offices, kitchen and sleeping quarters. This split building will be 2 story on one side. The size of the facility is anticipated to be approximately 14,000 SF Building on a 8,000 SF footprint. Due to the anticipated plan review/permitting and fabrication schedule, and with the District's desired occupancy schedule in mind, The District intends to purchase the pre-engineered building system prior to completion of design documents and procurement of a general contractor. This RFP includes the pre-engineered building system only, general contracting and all other subcontractor trades (including pre-engineered building erection) will be bid at a later date.
