Once RFQs are received the City will issue a Request for Proposals ("RFP") to shortlisted firms. The selected firm from the RFP process will work with our Braemar Ice Arena Project Team which will be comprised of City staff and stakeholders, Tegra Group as Owners Representatives, and JLG Architects providing programming and preliminary design, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration services for improvements at 7501 Ikola Way, Edina MN. The City has retained The TEGRA Group, Inc. ("TEGRA") as its Owner's Representative. TEGRA will be the primary point of contact on behalf of the City for the CMAR. The City intends to use a Construction Manager at Risk ("CMAR") contract with a Guaranteed Maximum Price ("GMP"). The City intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for CMAR services shortly after shortlisting firms from this RFQ process. The CMAR will provide preconstruction and construction services including cost and schedule estimating, bidding to subcontractors and day-to-day construction management. Your proposal and interview presentation should be a demonstration of your ability to communicate concisely and succinctly. Proposals are to be organized in the same sequence as outlined in RFQ and sections should be tabbed and clearly identifiable. Limit electronic proposal response to twelve (12) 8 1/2 " x 11" single-sided printable sheets, minimum font size of 11 point. Failure to include requested information, or follow the organizational requirements outlined above, will have a negative impact on the evaluation of the proposal.
