Renovation of a conference / convention center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Scope of work: In the State House Convention Center, Governor's Hall one, two, three and four, contractor to paint walls, columns, tectum panels, and modern fold wall system, up to approx. 35 feet high (stopping at black paint at structure above). This includes patching, repairing and prepping block and gypsum board walls through out the space. Contractor to remove, patch, prep and install new rubber base throughout the space. Bid security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau. Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the opening of bids. This invitation does not commit the Owner to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of bids. The Commission reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed to serve the best interest of the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission.
