Renovation of a conference / convention center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.

The project will have multiple Prime Contracts and will be coordinated by the Grand Wayne Convention Center. The scope of work will include a roof recover of approximately 125,000 square feet of existing roof area. Portions of the roof will receive a solar panel system. Roof recover scope to include repairs as required and all other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. All work to provide for a complete installation and be carried out a timely manner according to the Contract Documents. Each Bid proposal shall include labor, material and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared and on file in the office of the Owner, Grand Wayne Convention Center 120 W. Jefferson Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Multiple Contract Project consisting of the following prime contracts: Bid Package 07 - PVC Roofing and Roofing Specialties Bid Package 26 - Photovoltaic Panels Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashiers check, or a bid bond executed by a surety company which is authorized to do business in the State of Indiana, made payable to the Grand Wayne Convention Center and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. In the event a bidder withdraws its bid or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded to such bidder by the Owner, the Owner may declare the certified check, cashier's check or bid bond forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages Bid bond or certified/cashiers check Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount shall be required to be provided by the successful bidder to the Owner or its assignee no later than ten (10) days after the execution of such contract. Such bonds shall remain in full force and effect for a period of twelve (12) months after the date of Substantial Completion. All bids shall be itemized and all signatures must include the corporate position of the signer, and shall be properly notarized. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all formalities and informalities or to reject any and all Bids. The Owner shall accept Bids which, in his judgement, are in his own best interests. Bids received after the time set to receive Bids shall be returned unopened.
