Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Bidder shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of this project as follows: Improve Wheelock Road by installing a 10 wide asphalt trail on the west side of Wheelock Road starting at Jefferson Middle School and then heading south to Stellhorn Road where the trail then continues to the West, on the North side of the Road, crossing the Bullerman Drain before stopping 500' West of Wheelock Road. ADA ramps, drainage upgrades, a park bench, and regrading of a detention pond will be included in the project. The trail will be paid for using Tax Increment Financing from the Redevelopment Commission. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
