Site work and paving for a civil project in Helena, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of roadway widening on CR-17 to construct a new right turn lane at the intersection of CR-58. This project also includes traffic signal, driveway, drainage, and slope reconstruction. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Prequalification is not required, however, Bidders shall be currently qualified to bid and construct projects with the Alabama Department of Transportation. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 02/14/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions may be submitted by email to blair.perry@greshamsmith.com or addressed to Blair Perry, Gresham Smith, 3595 Grandview Parkway, Suite 300, Birmingham, AL 35243. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held.
