Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes milling, resurfacing, patching and base repair of asphalt and concrete streets, replacement of non-ADA compliant curb ramps and sidewalk, replacement of curb, pavement markings, road reconstruction and all other necessary items to result in a complete project. The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, payable to the Jeffersonville Board of Public Works. The above checks or bonds are to insure the execution of the contract on which such bids are made. The Contractorto whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance and payment bond to extend for a period of one year after final acceptance, in an amount equal to the bid price ofthe contract awarded to said Contractor and Certificates of all Insurance as described in the Contract Documents. As a requirement ofthe Community Crossings Grant funding utilized for this project, the prime contractor to whom the work is awarded must be prequalified with INDOT. Subcontractors can enter into subcontracts up to $300,000 without being prequalified with INDOT; however, the subcontractor is limited to a total of $300,000 in unearned work under contract on any given date with any owner, contractor, or other party. The Board of Public Works of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
