Continuing Signage Construction Services Awards The Aviation Authority may reject any and all Responses or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in Responses received. All awards made as a result of this Response shall conform to applicable policies of the Aviation Authority. The Aviation Authority reserves the right to cancel an awarded Response for any reason via written notice. The Aviation Authority does not discriminate upon the basis of any individual's disability status. In accordance with Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, the Aviation Authority may not request documentation of or consider a Respondent social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the Respondent is responsible. Submission of a Response shall constitute an acknowledgment that the Respondent has read and understands the Solicitation Documents. The failure or neglect of a Respondent to receive or examine any Solicitation Document shall in no way relieve it from any obligations under its Response or the Contract. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed which is based upon a lack of knowledge or understanding of any of the Contract Documents or the scope of work. If awarded, the Contract will be a "no cost" Master Agreement that includes the general terms and conditions. Each project will be awarded as a Job Order Addendum. In general, projects under $300,000 may be directly negotiated and projects over $300,000 will be bid among the pool of continuing signage contractors with award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. All projects over $250,000 must be approved by the Aviation Authority Board in accordance with Aviation Authority policies and fully executed by the parties before work can commence. All professional services, as defined by Florida law, must be subcontracted to a licensed professional (i.e., design/engineering services). Question Deadline 02/05/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Response Submission Deadline: February 21, 2025, 2:00pm Respondents shall submit all inquiries regarding this Solicitation via online Pursuant to Section 255.103, Florida Statutes, and its policies and procedures, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (Aviation Authority), requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Contractors (Proposers) to render Continuing Signage Construction Services (Services) under continuing contracts for signage construction projects (Continuing Contracts) at the Orlando International Airport, Orlando Executive Airport and other facilities operated by the Aviation Authority (Airport). The scope of work to be performed under these continuing signage construction contracts includes, but is not limited to, the design layout, fabrication, programming, and installation of new and the replacement of outdated and obsolete static wayfinding signage (sign cans and/or sign panels) for interior, exterior, roadway, and other public facility work. This work may also include dynamic signage with head-end and network installation as well as low and high voltage sign power requirements, interactive signs, video walls, and other forms of the new messaging technologies. The Continuing Contracts to be entered into between the Aviation Authority and the successful Proposers will be non-exclusive, and the Aviation Authority shall have the right to award any portion of the Services to one or more contractors. Orlando International Airport (MCO), operated and managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority ("Aviation Authority"), is expected to receive over 57 million domestic and international passengers that will be traveling through MCO during FY'25. MCO experienced a 15% growth in passenger traffic in 2023 and is currently served by 32 commercial airlines and 5 cargo carriers.
