Renovation of a municipal facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Improvements at 2599 Speakman Drive, Mississauga, Ontario: - Installation of a new door (specs provided) and sidelight (must be tempered glass, w/security laminate) to room 125. Door 125B to be exactly like door 125A. - Paint new door, frame, and partition to be consistent with site colours. - Additional security equipment to be installed. - Wiring already in ceiling for devices. - Existing Pac poles to be removed with cabling to be put up in ceiling. - Installation of a 90-degree motion sensor (wall-mounted), card reader and flood detector. - Relocation of existing camera (#25) to opposite corner. - Installation of Door Contacts for the half-door and for the full door. - Installation of Electric Strike and Piezo Security Alarm. - Installation of Exit Sign, indicating which door is intended for exit (in the event a fire alarm is activated for example. - Relocation of pre-action system bell (HVAC) and electrical. TIMELINE: RFQ for design has closed; whether or not an award has been made is unreleased for publication. Further update may be available spring 2026.
