Update: Design and construct green infrastucture based improvements on the sidewalk and roadway to create safe routes to the Trotter and Higginson-Lewis. Project is included in City of Boston Fiscal Year 2026-2030 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The City of Boston, through its Public Works Department (PWD), hereby invites written proposals for the project listed above. The Office of Green Infrastructure (OGI) seeks a consultant to provide design services for the first Green & Safe Routes to School project. This contract will result in plans to make existing quick-build improvements permanent, as well as incorporate climate resilience best practices (e.g. vegetated green infrastructure, tree planting, built shade/cooling infrastructure, seating and other site furnishings, etc.) to enhance the environment for two City of Boston schools.
