Village of Endicott (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Twist Run Tank Rehabilitation The Project includes the following Work: Tank Rehabilitation of a pre-stressed wire wound concrete tank rehabilitation, including concrete repair and coating installation. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. All questions prior to the bid opening must be received by the close of business on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 5:00pm local time. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Work of this project consists of the coating of all interior and exterior surfaces of the concrete water tank as outlined in these Contract Documents. Repairs, repainting, testing and disinfection are to be performed in accordance with AWWA D-102 standards. B. Concrete tank dimensions 67ft wide and 38ft. high. C. Base Contract will be for interior work and Alternates will be for exterior work. D. For claification, the interior coating work shall include the floor, walls and stop at the start of the dome. E. The Interior Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner and Engineer on and off site. F. The Interior Contractor shall remove existing overflow screens and replace with non-corrodible 24-mesh screens secured in place with non-corrodible hose clamps, or other method acceptable to Engineer. G. The Interior Contractor shall remove sediment and chemically clean interior of tank. H. The Interior Contractor shall temporarily remove all manway or hatch seals prior to coating. I. The Interior Contractor shall prepare steel manway and interior piping for epoxy coating. J. The Exterior Contractor shall inject grout where there are indications of leaks.
