2025 Genoa Basketball Courts Reconstruction Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1) A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents, or 2) a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Genoa, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Instructions to Bidders. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations that apply to the work. Any project specification item in conflict with federal, state, or local law, rule, or regulation, shall be void. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than May 24, 2025. The Village of Genoa is not keeping a list of plan holders.The Village of Genoa reserves the right to reject any bids, and to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept that bid which in the judgment of the proper officials is to the best interest of the County.
