Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Pigeon Forge and Veolia Water are receiving bids for the replacement of existing thickening membranes and installation of new membranes in the aerobic digestion process at the Pigeon Forge Wastewater Treatment Plant. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid most favorable to the City. The sludge thickening process at the Pigeon Forge WWTP currently consists of 6 membrane modules that are installed in two tanks. These membranes are used to thicken waste activated sludge that is stabilized during the aerobic digestion process All membranes and associated guide rails, piping and membranes required to complete the scope of work will be on site for installation by the contractor. (See attached drawings) 7. Communication with operational personnel to minimize process down time. 9. Disposal of all old membrane modules. 10. Completion of the job no later than March 22 2025
